Week Nine

NYOS

The season was winding down and it was obvious that to be the #1 seed in the tournament we had to beat NYOS. Ft. Bend  was a close second and a loss would mean we would have to play NYOS in the first round of the playoffs. It was a bitterly cold night and the goal was to stop Casey Dufner there 6'2" 215 pound 500 yard a game dominator! The score was 19-8 with 30 seconds before half time when we let NYOS go 50 yards and score making it a 5 point game.  However, Tribe exploded for 20 unanswered points in the 3rd and then traded TDs for the remainder of the game. We were out rushed and out passed but there 4 turnovers to our 1 was the difference.
